Learning the ropes...very slowly

So it occurred to me that it would be fabulous to have a blog.  I've enjoyed SOOO many of them, and they sure are a great way to meet new people, find new fans, learn new things, etc.  But, and this is a big but (no, not that kinda butt)...I'm just a hair shy of clueless on how to make one!  So bear with me, I've just figured out how to add those nifty links to the side of the page.  And I'm almost certain that I'll be the only one seeing this for quite a while, so I suppose I can stop typing and get back to enjoying this heat wave...to be continued...
